Join in this historic moment of silence. Observe two minutes of silent prayer, meditation, or private thought on the war and its victims.

Adding your name does not commit you to anything other than observing the moment of silence. (Note: We will not edit any names or comments, but we do reserve the right to remove them if they may be considered offensive for the somber spirit of this page.)

In case you haven't already heard, hundreds of thousands of people around the world have come together to observe a moment of silence for peace in the Balkans. Entire schools and parishes have joined in. Offices have paused in their work days. Even some radio stations have gone quiet. We have all taken two minutes from our day for silent prayer, meditation, or private thought on the war and its victims. The Moment of Silence campaign isn't a statement against the United States, or against the Kosovars, or against the Serbians. It is not about national borders and governments at all. It is about the value of individual human life and liberty. It is a symbolic gesture of peace and good will for all men, women, and children. I hope you'll join us.
